Description
The castle "Steinsberg" is located near Sinsheim in the Kraichgau (Germany). The castle was build in the beginning of the 13th Century, around 1220 - 1240.
1525 the castle was burned down during the Peasants. Then the defeated rebel farmers had to pay 5000 guilders damages. After a lightning strike in 1777 the castle was abandoned.
In 1973 the castle was partly renovated and can now be visited.
