I remember watching my little grand daughter at the age of 5 as she waded into the ocean near some rocks with baby seals on it. One baby slid down and headed for her. I had no doubts that they could meet and find common ground in instinct - knowing they were both young and innocent. To my horror, the seal's mother had other ideas and I had to quickly run into the water to pull my grand daughter out before the baby reached her...with her mother only a few feet behind! this is a fabulous shot and brought back some of my memories long left behind.

Sweet capture. When I used to visit an uncles farm, he used to put the geese away before we went to play, especially the gander :o)

This is a superb shot, and I wonder if the geese are thinking: oh, what a funny looking duck! or something like that. Probably not, but it's a fun thought. This is a fantastic and unexpected picture, and the clarity is marvelous, as always.

Wonderful image. Animals seem to know when there is danger and recognize innocence. I imagine the geese left her alone because she is young and did the same for them. This reminded me of a story by the Brothers Grimm called The Goose Girl.
