Great shot Lars. Did you know that some big spiders have two primary eyes and these eyes focus on simple light cells at the back? To get a full image.. the spider has up/down and left/right muscles at the back of the eye to raster scan the light input. With a super microphone, you can hear it's eyes humming as it looks at you. Now that's kinda cool and a bit alien. Bravo and best wishes from Dave :^)

David: Thank you very much! .. No, I did not know, I am so glad you brought it up and learned me something there - wow I can imagine the sound is like on my camera perhaps when focusing :) Your insight made med curious to know more,.. I found that net catching spiders normally have 8 eyes with different purpose. I also learnt that only few have good eyesight and mostly rely on smell, movement etc. but also that some have median eyes that are able to detect polarised ligtht to help in catching pray. One spieces even made small white referece points on a leaf further away, to increase the speed/accuracy of the focus as I understand .. I found that nature often surpasses my imagination, and is a great source of artistic inspiration also. Thanks
