Description

Colyton Fishacre, situated in Devon uk near Dartmouth. Once the home of the Doyle Carte family of Gilbert and Sullivan fame, a beautiful Arts and Craft style house with beautiful gardens that slope away to the sea. The house was built from stone quarried in the garden.

what an interestingly subtle variety of colors and textures of stone. the lichen is especially spectacular. and the green offsets it very well. your camera angle caught a lot of different elements and gave them visually interesting relationships. very original perspective.
