ok perhaps this week I will show you photos ...
this was what I was seeing on saturday..during the day. I went for a walk by myself and this is fairly close to where I found the crane, just looking in the other direction. You can barely make out the horizon. This is why I never got a sunset.
There were a few people out on the water in boats...
i'm not sure I would personally do that if I couldn't see. This location is known as back beach in grand marais manitoba.

You can barely make out the horizon. I don't think I'd be out on the water, either, as it's not like waiting for the morning mist to lift. Nice capture.
