Description

TG2 - the first render with my new computer. Still can't believe that it renders more than 4 times faster than my old one. Finally I'll be able to create landscapes with a lot of foliage, multiple cloud layers and such - yeeeh-ha! :-) So this one actually has been a quick test only. Thanks for WeeLaddie for the initial terrain (heavily tweaked by me). Bushes from Mr.Lamppost's basic bush pack, trees are modified summer birchs (both available at Planetside). Comments and critics welcome, and thanks for your comments on my previous image!

@Tiwiwine: I used an image map shader (greyscale) as a surface layer displacement, with cylindrical projection.

This is amazing. Those clouds are astounding, the trees are perfection! The terrains are also quite compelling. Brilliant work here, as usual! This is a favorite!

he he. "yeeh-hah" indeed. The T2 bucking bronco has at last been broken in, and is now your obedient hobby horse. Mind you don't fall off, Sue. Nice pagoda-like towers, and love the lighting.
