Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Great scene. You can always tell the seasoned shooters in this light! They are the ones who turn the flash off and get the tripod out!

I hope all were rewarded; the colours don't have to be in-your-face to be gorgeous, subtle can have a huge wow factor too! Any sunset is a good one in my book!

Ah, the interminable wait. Patience is a virtue, all the more so in these situations, Marilyn. Stellar capture of your fellow photographers, as they await that magical moment.

I'm the one you can't see from here. I'm probably crouched down taking a picture of a bare branch that already has some interesting light on it! LOL!
