Description

I photographed this sweetie last summer. I do however believe that it is still the same little robin that come and visit me every afternoon when I go out to water the garden. He is always there feeding on little insects that I am obviously disturbing while watering! Thank you for your visit and for your wonderful support in comments and favs on my spring blossom of yesterday! Stay well! Hugs Carin xx

Will you get a load of those tail feathers! WOW! Now that's some snazzy dressing! Robins are such fun birds! I have no idea how they do it, but they always manage to look so terribly important all of the time, like they have very serious business to attend to as efficiently as possible. I've always liked them, and I love it when they arrive back in Chicago in Spring; they're a bit different from this guy, but unmistakably robins. Their calls are distinctive and a real sign that it's warm enough for those tasty worms in the garden...well...tasty for Robins, anyway. This is a gorgeous shot.

Oh I love this. What a cute little bird. And the detailing of the feathers and other parts is superb. I love the sounds that robins make when they sing and chirp. One of the few things that I miss about living in Indiana years ago is the sounds of the birds. We don't get much bird action here in the big city, but the suburbs are a little better. Great shot!
