Description

... Mushrooms bear yes, a bear you said pointing out That, I was. THAT way - Out There - you said, I motioned toward and you wandered out stepping off the back porch barefooted toward the light you slid as if tethered I followed, while you slowly melted thru Then, you turned with a slow about-face swooshing, glittering energy COME - Sliding along we stood as forever there, in the softness Heads back, looking up, spinning into the night sky, stars behind the clouds, Skewed round in swirls of contrasting lightly-blinking colors THERE - naked on the ground with large gentle wet-green banana leaves all around you began to crave the big ice cube melting, on the porch .

Trippy, indeed, and wonderfully sensual as well. I love the logic of this poem, the way so much of it feels intuitive, like a dream, all ending with the craving of an ice cube melting on the porch. Really top notch work!
