Well Done T-Rex! I saw a documentary on this specific tracked howitzer, & I can understand how is the most sophisticated machine of its type, surpassing the m109 paladin. A battery demonstrated the blanketing of fairly large area, each of the battery howitzers let go a round at a certain angle then an other round at a different angle, repeating the process for 5 or 6 shots, this allowed all the rounds to fall on the target almost at the same time because of the trajectories & flight times, this was an awe inspiring sight, the target was obliterated. The battery is controlled by linked computers so that all the howitzers get the same info for targeting. Very impressive piece of military technology.

There are legendary weapon systems on earth - the russian anti-aircraft tank TUNGUSKA for example - or the Panzerhaubitze 2000 (PzH 2000) from Krauss-Maffei-Wegmann, the crown of german weapan technology in this moment. 4 nations use this engine in the moment: The Netherlands (57), Greece (24), Italy (70) and the german Bundeswehr (185). At 10th July 2010 the PzH 2000 was used in Afghanistan by the german Bundeswehr in Kunduz to protect one of their reconstruction teams operating outside the camp. It was the first time after World War II, that a german weapon like this was used in an armed conflict. There are two howitzers inside the camp, they operate from inside, leaving is not necessary. They were transported to Afhanistan with the private russian Volga Dnepr Airlines in their Antonov heavy air frighters. Thanks for sharing this fine modell! The proud of Germany!
