Description
A milkweed butterfly (queen or soldier I think) shot recently in my backyard. Kind of busy around here right now so I won't be able to post as often.

There is an intensity to this shot that makes me glad that it's largely desaturated...the contrasts come out so well and the pose of the butterfly is quite intriguing. This is really fantastic work. I like it immensely!
