Description

I’ve had this song playing in my head for a couple of days now. I decided to do something about it. As my good buddy Will (knight wolverine) would say I went into the recesses of my mind to check out the memories. This is what I saw and I do indeed remember. The lyrics say a 60’s Chevy well I didn’t have one. My thinking is that he looks better in a banged up, rusted 57 model. I just happened to have one. The stark settings are intended because for me it fits my feelings and the tune as I remember it. Yea, and I do remember ! Do you ? I was a little too tall Could've used a few pounds Tight pants points hardly reknown She was a black haired beauty with big dark eyes And points all her own sitting way up high Way up firm and high Out past the cornfields where the woods got heavy Out in the back seat of my '60 Chevy Workin' on mysteries without any clues Workin' on our night moves Trying' to make some front page drive-in news Workin' on our night moves in the summertime In the sweet summertime We weren't in love oh no far from it We weren't searching for some pie in the sky summit We were just young and restless and bored Living by the sword And we'd steal away every chance we could To the backroom, the alley, the trusty woods I used her she used me But neither one cared We were getting our share Workin' on our night moves Trying to lose the awkward teenage blues Workin' on out night moves In the summertime And oh the wonder Felt the lightning And we waited on the thunder Waited on the thunder I woke last night to the sound of thunder How far off I sat and wondered Started humming a song from 1962 Ain't it funny how the night moves When you just don't seem to have as much to lose Strange how the night moves With autumn closing in

Well George.. Thanks for the plug and yes going into the recesses of your mind is a good thing as long as you don't get lost along the way...lol..Ah yes..Night Moves...by Bob Seger ..a great tune from the early 80's...fits your most solidly designed scene.Well Done my friend...although since you created this scene using an old Chevy I thought this song might work as well... Rusty ole' Chevrolet by Da Yoopers.... Dashing through the snow in my Rusty Chevrolet Down the road I go Sliding all the way I need new piston rings I need some new snow tires My car is held together By a piece of chicken wire CHORUS Oh, rust and smoke, the heater's broke The door just blew away I light a match to see the dash And then I start to pray The frame is bent, the muffler went The radio, it's okay Oh what fun it is to drive This Rusty Chevrolet -Will-

Great render ol Man. The only thing I see wrong here is that there is too much distance between the girl and guy...lol. When I went on dates.. folks thought they saw a single two headed person behind the wheel. I don't remember your song but might if I heard it. I never paid much attention to lyrics. My first car was a 57 Ford, back in 68, and the song of choice for me was "Hot Rod Lincoln". Anyway, great job here George. Bravo and best wishes from Dave :^)

Let's see if I can conjour up a 60 Chevrolet exactly for you. It's an off red pinkish brown and has a 335 hp. 348 c.i. V-8 (commonly referred to as the Impala because of it's 1958 debut in that model.) with tripple Rochester carburetors. Now let's come to why I need to se the stage for you acoustically. It has a 3 speed --- column shift--- yes that one that makes that odd dragging down almost scraping sound when it gets worn and is best heard in a pickup patrolling the fence at a S.A.C. base in second gear as he approaches a turn at a corner in the fence or an untended gate. Yes the 57 will do it too but for some reason they just never got the wear that a big block or a pickup with a six eventually showed. He seems to be looking for PCBs with all the transfomers on the power poles. Take it away!! George!! Rock the night away!!
