Description

"A knight is sworn to valor, his heart knows only virtue, his blade defends the helpless, his might upholds the weak, his word speaks only truth, his wrath undoes the wicked. The right can never die, if a man still remembers him. Words are not forgotten, if a voice pronounce them clearly, The Code always shines, if a heart preserves it brightly."* A young man that can embody these knightly virtures: Show humility before his patron. Compassion to his enemy. Courtesy to the fair sex. Devotion to his patron and his cause. Mercy on the battlefield and in matters of the heart. Purity of spirit and soul. Peace in times of trial. Endurance to stand to any test. He bears courage to face whatever trials await him. Practice the code of justice, keeping all in balance around him, favoring the law of order above all. Compassion to those whom fortune has not favored kindly. Faith in his cause. Nobility in failure. Hope in the face of difficulty. Strenght of heart and faith in his cause. Integrity and resolve in knowing what he fights for is right. ~~~~ If any could exemplify these qualities, it would be Patrick Knight/Pendragon. A young, modern day knight, in more ways than one. He eldest son of Brian Knight and Kayla MacInnes, heir to the rule of the New Age of Camelot. And a young Starknight in his own right. ...even if sometimes the influence of Mom shines through even his noble exterior. *grins* ~~~~ Ah, nothing like a time warp to give you a new perspective on a character. :-) Well, I was called out...so to speak. So, I just HAD to post this one with my character, Patrick, all grown up. There will be two other images (at least) to this, with Pat and his brother, Gabriel. Who knows? I may even toss one together with dear ole Dad. Muahahahaha! *runs to go get DAZ running* ~~~~ To see Pat in his younger days please see: Like Father Like Son -- By SWard80 -- http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2101738&np ~~~~ Michael 4 -- DAZ (DAZ) Scott Body Morphs -- Eric Farris (RDNA) Max Facial Morphs and Mats -- Liquid Rust (DAZ) Mon Chevalier Hair -- Neftis (DAZ) Mon Chevalier Textures -- Maskim Xul (DAZ) Valiant for M4 -- Ravenhair (DAZ) Dauntless Textures for Valiant -- Moyra (DAZ) Knight's Templar Sword -- Merlin_Studios (RMP) Hero FX Extreme -- Netherworks (DAZ) Elaya's Asylum -- DM Productions (RMP) Pose adjustments, lighting and postwork -- Me *Quote taken, in part, from the film Dragonheart (1996) The Knight Virtues are taken from the Knight's Code and given word by me.

Excellent work my dear. Brian is a proud pappa indeed. Love your expanded take on the knights code. Patrick looks very much the part of his father's son, but that expression of his is all his mom.

This guy sounds like a bad ass - lol.... are you sure you don't want to give him a gun? lol I gotta see if this guy is as bad as you say he is, put him up agains the Terminator, Preditor, Conan the Destroyer, Mr. Spock - yeah, now were talk'n honor - lol Cool character, how many children does he have? well, ya know, back then, they didn't have birth control and that measure how man a man was - lol Just tease'n ya Iceshark, don't give me the cold shoulder - lol render looks really good the light looks bright, but I don't see any on him, ever thought about importing a few spotlights just to give it that edge? it would really turn this good looking image into a masterpiece.

I love your images .. and the prose you write to go with them. It's like reading a favorite book with pictures! Reminds me of books when I was kid, a great story and fabulous pictures! Of course this is at a bit more adult level, grins, a picture book with stories for grown-ups who are still kids, grins. Wonderful work on this, great lighting and posing .. all the details are just perfect!
