Nice having a photo of the Panther tank's victim. However, considering the two, it's a shame the owner of this hasn't gone over it with a polisher and a new coat of paint. Letting it rust like this is quite negligent.If he's lucky enough to have one, he should take better care of it (unless the meaning is that it should look all brewed up after an ancounter with the Panther!). Keep up the good work! :)

Any Sherman is a great Sherman in my book....it's the tank and the men who crewed it, not the paint job.

Direct vision, cast hull Sherman with some interesting early/late parts/mods and updates. A real hodgepodge. I'm sure restoration is not far off for this guy. (Note the piece of brick holding up the gun.)

I almost have my version of that tank ready, the good old m4a1 nice pic, wish I had the time money and place to put the old boy and restore it. I also wish I could climb all over it and take some detail pics. :)
