Description

I've got the idea from the summer dancing festival 'Yosakoi' in my city. About 200 dancing team (50-150 dancers in one team) participate in that festival and keep dancing for 3 days at the various places in the town. The guys called 'Matoi' wave the big flags in the front of the low and lead the the other dancers. The other dancers follow them with the 'Naruko' (small wooden percussion) in both hands. The style of dance is energetic, combining traditional Japanese dance movements with modern music. The dancers wear beautiful costumes and set their hair nicely. This festival became very popular and spread throughout much of the country. I've mixed some outfit for this image. The skirt is from Euros Outfit by prae. All textures are by me. Very nice colors in the texture you've given the outfits. The movement in the scene is very well done, too! The background wash-like technique sets it off quite nicely! The Matoi, mind you, are well put together in this, too. :) Really well done.

You did it again: Wonderful image! By the way I like your pictures so very much because I like Japan and the culture very much. I even started to learn your language some years ago but never had enough time the learn vocabularies etc. LOL! I only know some dirty words and how to things like "You are a beautiful boy!"
