Description

Hello everyone and thanks for looking... I'm still playing around with Image Based Lights, and this is just another experiment. As usual, if anyone has any tips or pointers, I'd sure like to hear 'em. Thanks and have a great weekend. Tom Seaview123 Credits: Urban Sprawl by Stonemason

Nice work. Love his expression. My only suggestion would be to find a way to populate the street a bit.

All you need to do is add a point light, decrease the range of it and put it in front of the characters to bring out more depth. The poses and set up look great. Just learn to modify the lighting to fit your scene.

I use point lights alot to make the characters "pop" from their BG,s... works pretty well. Nice dynamics between the characters and I'll admit that some 'innocent bystanders' might help add some additional interest. Stonemason's sets can make my maching groan though anytime I try to add too much and I hate compositing layers in PS or PSPXI.

Not bad at all. I'd say this scene needs a large "sun" infitite light to give some shadows and make it seem more like an outdoor scene. Generally, I like to use 1 IBL, 1 shadow casting light, and 1 specular light.
