Description

Ultra Fractal 5.04, with six layers used. "The Wave," by Hokusai is sometimes classed as one of the greatest paintings in the world, and the contrast between gigantic wave and enfolded mountain is dramatic. It would be cheek indeed to suggest this modest interpretation could stand alongside. Inspiration has to be steeped in individuality for it to be deserving of more than passing interest. Japan, of course, has reason to beware the onrush of gigantic quake-driven rushes of ocean and this the master portrays so frighteningly well. Cliff.

Beautiful colors and wonderful shapes of the wave! Superb! One of the peculiarity in the works of Hokusai, I think, his way of the exaggeration.

This is a beautiful image that stands of itself, and not in the shadow of anything.
