Description

Tonight hopefully my wife and I shall be off to a holiday for a few weeks, that actually she deserved more! Today was going through my computer to clean it up completely to have a system restore.. and found TONES of stuff that I have had LOOONG forgotten! This is one of'em. There was a load of LowRes 3D scenes, prepared for a game idea we had started off with a friend. It had got cancled so I had converted them to PoserProps. Left them aside, as not to bother with perfecting them since there were simply too much of them. Now thinking I might have a go with them at the market place, they are animatable in some parts. What do you say? Do they seem worth the effort? All the parts were influenced by existing buildings.(this one was from the courtyard of Castle Levan) And are mostly midevil based castles, bridges, rooms and etc. It was created in Rhino and textured in Pshop. I cut the buildingwhich was bigger. And to cover the blank bit I used a sidewalk text I found somewhere. In the meanwhile I would like to use this oppertunity 2 THANK Steve Cox for the fantastic program UV Mapper that he GAVE OUT as a Beta. Before I had the luxury of Body paint or MAYA or even texture master for ZBrush it was THE only program that allowed me to texture a model as I wished. It has been PRICELESS for me. (heard there is a new vers, that's no longer a Beta.. but couln't try it out)

Nice work and sorry the game you were building never quite made it. Now for as your question whether you put this in the marketplace, well that is up to you and what you think it's worth is. It was your hard work and labor that went into it and a great job you did. ~grin~

What an enigmatic little setting, it apeals to my yearning for secret places where I can be quiet and away from people. I could play cat&mouse with anyone foolish enough to enter my realm. The ambiance and colours of the textures have a wonderful timeless feel. Would be fantastic with a moat around it.. Have a great holiday!

As a student who spends all my money on food, clothing, books and gas and can't afford to spend it on Poser, I'd love to see it in free stuff. ;D However, it's absolutely gorgeous! If I had the money, I'd pay for it, so I think you ought to put it in the market place. It's amazing! And from what I can see, I imagine it's a very flexible prop. My only complaint is that something about the fountain seems slightly off, but I think that's just because the image is small enough that I can't see it well enough. (My monitor is small and very low quality.) That's all. =)

Well to be honest there IS a moat around it.. and the court IS a dear bit wider. It was a beautiful garden put all together. All just sacrificed for being able to fit in the library. And about the fauntain; you are VERY right.. I find it horrible personally(the sculptor that is). But I had alot of it lost in lowering the resolution . The size of this thing is AMAZINGLY small. Well I might as well give it a go. I have about 6 Cities of these. Better find out how this market place thing works.

Great modeling and I'm sure these scenes would be of great use to the Poser community...
