Description

This one is for you Mike, The historical "truth" behind poledancing.......... In his comment on my "Dr. Livingstone I presume?" image Mike pointed out a mistake I made in the story and that was what made me aware of the fact that he really read this little historical piece. This led me to believe that Mike,(like myself) values the importance of historical truth over just looking at naked girls.............. LOL So with that thought in mind I made this image for him. The story behind poledancing takes us back to the iron age, around 850-400 BC, when a diverse group of tribal societies made there way through central Europe. These people, known as Celts, were actually the first to have displayed the act of what we now call poledancing. And as I will explain to you, that it was not, as some now believe, an act to get people in a silly state of mind. In those troublesome times there was a lot of rivalry between the different tribes and there were a lot of battles to be fought. The men did not have time to do a honest days labor, so this task was taken on by the young woman of the tribe. When building new shelter to live in, the woman used to set up the first pole and then climb it to build the rest of the tent. They needed to act out all kinds of strange movements to get everything in place and to not loose contact with the pole to prevent sustaining an injury. Because of this difficult task their bodies developed into the shape we still see today with modern professional pole dancers, who still must have a lot of celtic blood in their vains. As you can imagine those girls would not do all of this dangerous work for free so everytime the men came back from a battle they used to pay the woman for their time and trouble. Not being the civilised men that we are now instead of giving the coins to the woman, they used to throw them towards them and the girls had to pick them up when they finished work. I really don't know what people nowadays think they are looking at in various bars and clubs, but I know I still go look at it from a historical perspective......... So as I have explained above there is a perfectly decent story behind poledancing and I made this little diorama style image to make it more understandable. Ok that's enough nonsence for today, I hope you all like this little madman's tale, thanks for droping in and for the nice and funny comments on my "Dr. Livingstone I presume?" image. Enjoy, Ed. PS I think I know a perfectly good explanation for the lapdance too but that's a whole other story....... first my friend the render looks beautiful. now lets get to the story, what silly state of mind do you mean ??the one you running around with the stiff spear, wich is the same than when the testosterone is almost drowning the brain, well almost??- mostly totally, the men had no time to do honest labor because the had to beat and kill and rape and stab and ... nothing has changed indeed: the men still do that: a big part has no time left to do a honest earning they spend all day screwing each other online. and the women have to grab again the pole ,because when the assholes have enough they run away and leave the ladies in the shit and some have to do poledancing to earn a living and feed their kids. an honest job to me poledancer respect to all the girls out there who have to show off their asses to the silly men just to earn a living.

Superb lighting and the fact that you mention Mike is enough to bring a smile to my face. Excellent work and very plausible excuse for a sexy girl going through her pole dance routine. Mind you don't throw the coins too hard! Steve :o)

I believe that this was a power pole dancing as maléphique in any kinds such as. Who thinks to do evil as well. The innocence of the bravery of ecstasy that leads us to the lowland. But there will always be good in all this.

That is a very intriguing story Ed. And I have to admit, I never knew this before. You see, I'm not simply obsessed with the pretty picture - which is very alluring may I say. So sorry I missed this piece on my first pass somehow.

Hahahaha...damn Ed, you should write history more often. I believe you missed your calling in life. Now if I could just convince my wife that I'm doing historical research when I want to go see pole dancers.... Fun render Ed!
