Please take a moment to view full size, thank you! Every once in a while I get these crazy urges to create happy and soft fae style images :-) Usually it happens when I am in a long series of battle works; my mind just seems to need a break from all the conflict. I start getting visions like these and they just need to get out. It's the Nature's Daughters calling out for their turn at my creative canvas! The other day while scanning the galleries I came across a delightful artist named Finnerman. I was immediately struck by the soft beauty of her compositions and how she has such a different, delicate approach to her works than mine, which tend to be sharp, hard and rather vivid. She had so many fine images but two that really struck me were "The Beauty of Nature" and "Iris" From her work I got a little urge that I thought I could satisfy in a few hours work. Ha! Two days later I am finally uploading "The Fall Fae," which I want to dedicate to Finnerman. If you love the soft side of Nature's Daughters go spend some time in her gallery. Roxy, once again you go beyond mere technical perfection to create true Art. This image sings! Love how you manage to cram all sorts of little details into the image that can only be appreciated in full view. The two piccolos playing, the way her wings match the colors of the leaves, the raven hiding in the shadows, all add to the magic. (I am still looking for the mouse - he must be in there somewhere, lol.) This image must have been a joy to create, because it is a joy to behold. Even though it is very different from your usual images, you have mastered the technique perfectly. Bravo! An instant favorite!

OMG! You know, there are some artists out there that, when you see thier work, you think 'how could she possibly create anything better than this?' And then the next work pushes the envelope yet again. You are one of those artists, Roxy. Every time I see something new from you, it just blows me away! This is yet another work like that. I must have stared at this for 10 minutes... Soooooo beautifully done. My hat is off to you!
