Description

This lovely young lady goes by the name of Piper. Here, she is trying to lift the table cloth because she knows that the cover for her cage is underneath on the other shelf. This is the first time she's ever done this and I was there to capture it. I did make a print for my mom. Thank you for all your wonderful comments and faves. I greatly appreciate them all. Awesome capture, Mike! That's a beautiful bird. My mom used to have parakeets when I was a kid - they were so much fun, and smart, too. I think animals are a lot more intelligent than we give them credit for. This bird has observed, learned, reasoned, and is acting on what he/she has learned.
