My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Gorgeous colors and details, I'd love to have those in my garden, though the only water feature I have is the creek that runs thru my property!! I don't think they'd last too long there!!
barbdennist
So very colorful and pretty.

Your composition puts me right in the garden. I see touch of green a great waterfeature and the open sky. Very clever.

Very artsy...title is a good fit looking at the tell-tale rings around each ball. How come I didn't see this? :)

Really well seen. Great photo.

Whenever I see glass balls like these, I'm reminded of the alabaster eggs my mother and maternal grandmother owned...they were intended for women's hands back in the Victorian age, I think...to keep the flesh cool and vaguely clammy. I always though it strange to have alabaster eggs, but there you have it. Needless to say, I love this shot because of those glass balls...the largest, darkest one recalls some distant planet I might have visited...or will soon visit. Maybe a Nemaean world, since I'm in one of those Nemaean moods (Victor's accent does that!) Anyway, this is a marvelous shot! I love the subtle colors and the warm, summery mood. As always, this is quite well seen and perfectly presented! Glass balls...I'll have to go looking for some now.
