Description

This is a typical cloud build-up with rain shafts during our monsoon. Rain may come down at the rate of 2 to 3 inches/hour, but since it doesn't last long actual precipitation rarely exceeds 1 inch. Showers and thunderstorms are usually isolated and directly related to the moisture in the air. This pictiure was taken in Oracle, Pinal County, on Sunday 29 August 2010. Thank you for viewing and commenting, Sig...

Lived in Tucson for a number of years. Used to be able to set your watch by the afternoon storms around 5. Kinda miss those downpours ;)
