Updated Nov 2010: Welcome to my Home Page on Renderosity. I started creating digital art using Poser and Photoshop in 2008. Since then I've created quite a number of pictures and as an extra bonus I've made some cool friends along the way. It's been great being part of the Renderosity community.  Here's a little info about me. I'm married with two kids and a cat (who thinks he's one of my kids).  Much as I would love to do digital artwork fulltime, I can't ... I have to squeeze in the time between working at my job and taking care of kids and the house.  However, at least I do have my evenings (usually after the kids are asleep) and weekends to indulge in my passion for creating digital art. Hope you enjoy the results of my labor! Well, thanks for dropping by. I appreciate your support and encouragement.- Scifibabe (Lori)

Nice render Lori. Being a mom to special needs kids is a challenge at the best of times. Also having this issue with your mom just puts more stress on you. Not easy, believe me I know. Don't worry about comments as we all know sometimes there just is not enough time in our hectic lives. Probably like many of us you just want to sit down and make a render to escape for an hour or two. We love your work. Will pray for your peace of mind and serenity to return. Hugs Liz

oh mate....what a load....I am impressed that you even turn the computer on.....for the most of us we would probably curl up in the foetal position and suck our thumbs.... I know I would... yours is a story of the triumph of the human spirit as far as I am concerned....the simple fact that you can carry on with such a load is amazing. your character looks strong and beautiful as is your spirit be strong friend carl

What a great image and stance. The warrior stands tall and proud, undefeatable - just as you are. Keep strong!

Holey crap girl and you think we might be peeved because you miss a few? Dealing with one special needs child would be hard but two of them, and both at once. Sheesh. Poor little man, I know you said he was totally pumped about going to kindergarden and now this happens in the first few days. My heart goes out to the poor little fella. Frankly I would say you gotta be the white knight and not the black one, although she doesn't look all that mean :-) And who am I to knock the dark maiden, one of my favourite characters. Still, I think it should be white.

Always a pleasure to view your skill and talent Lori. Very impressive indeed! Children can be trying at times but special needs is a whole new challenge, for which you have my empathy and moral support. Steve :o)

Lori, first let me say that I'm sorry your going through this tough time right now where life is handing you some tough problems to deal with. Your such a wonderful lady, and one of the strongest people I know and that is why so many of us admire you. You and your family are always in my prayers and I'll pray for God to grant you strength during this time and peace to your two beloved kids. Great work on this pic, it really does represent you so well my friend.

My daughter's youngest is a sick child with severe heart problems and he faces yet another open heart surgery, he also is a special needs child, so my heart goes out to you my friend, I have a little thought as to how it is for you. Be strong if you can we understand and life at times is so difficult. I, like many others on RR have chronic illness and constant pain, and I also worry if I cannot always get to my friends galleries, but believe me everyone here really does understand, and you are not alone. I love this character within the scene here, and I hope it helped you some as you created it. love and hugs Jane xx

It's been said that God will never test you with what you can not handle. But I beleive the antithesis is true as well. For those that can handle the fires of the forge, he tempers into the hardest steel. So you are more like an armored warrior than you may realize. Your friends are here, as I'm sure they are where you live. Fight when you are strong, lean on your family and friends when tired. :)

You sure have a hectic life Lori. What a stunning warrior.

This is what I like about this community; its not just a place where you can share your hobby with folks. I'm sorry to hear about the troubles your having with the kids, and I'm doubly impressed that you can manage to turn out so many consistently great looking images and still be a full time Mom. I've got a very playful 3yo girl and I usually can't do anything art related until she goes to bed. I really feel for you. Great work on this image, you are one very talented artist.

Sorry to hear about your problems. HOpefully, things will get better soon! Cool outfit and render!
