Description

a while back I posted an image of Zlata in a reflective box playing with three balls. then posted that same image with all the reflective surfaces matted. RodS made the comment about Ray Traced image so I went back and changed the shadow to Ray Traced and set the machine to render the image while I was at work. I came back from work 5 hours later and the render was finished and here is the result. Thanks Rod for the suggestion Mike I hope that everyone has a great Wednesday I did change the camera position

the reflectives are so clear; there's so much you could do with these kinds of effects/reflective surfaces; very nice work mon ami!

HOLY MOLY! That's really cool! I love this - I could sit and look at all the wonderful little reflections for hours but unfortunately I have to leave for work in a few minutes ;-( Thanks for the cool dedication, Mike! Zlata looks like she's really having a great time - I guess one could say she's having a BALL while REFLECTING on life! Now, I'm going to have to look at the previous version, and see how the two compare to each other. Excellent!

I compared the two image and other than some variation in the shadows area i didn't see a lot of diffrence so unless you are trying for photorealism in your images shadow mapping should suffice for most people.
