Description

Banff is the largest town in Banff National Park, in Alberta's Canadian Rockies. It is the first incorporated municipality located within a Canadian national park, and at 4,800 feet (1,463 meters), it is the town with the second highest elevation in Canada, the highest being Lake Louise. It is surrounded by mountains, notably Mount Norquay 8,275 feet (2,522 meters), Mount Rundle, Sulphur Mountain, Cascade Mountain, and is situated above Bow Falls near the junction of the Bow and Spray Rivers. I remember the last time I was in Banff...it was on a Sunday, and I literally could not find anywhere to park so after looking for over a hour, I drove away!
