The first thing that drew my eye was the fibonacci spiral and the ultimately natural elements of this fractal design. I've been on this odd mathematics kick for a while now (blame a few snails for that!) and so naturally I'd find something like this appealing. What drew me in even more was the insect shapes I saw: I thought of dragonflies or something as my eye zoomed over the purple bits...and yeah, I saw chorus girls doing high kicks as well, in the pale human flesh tones. In short, there's a lot in this that draws my attention and holds it for a good, long time! For me, that's a mark of great artwork, especially great fibonacci-spiral fractal thingies. Excellent.
