Description
This is a small Natural Bridge, that was worn through the rock ledge, by the Kicking Horse River, in the Kicking Horse Pass, in Yoho National Park, near Field, British Columbia, in the Canadian Rockies. The river is flowing toward you and there is a short fall just before the water moves under the rock ledge. The river is fed by glaciers and snow melt. The milky look, to the water, is from all of the silt (rock flour) generated by the moving glaciers. Scanned from an August 1988 photo. Info from Wikipedia. Zoom is good.
