Description

Greetings. My recent painting, "The red oning cafe". Please see it as my humble tribute to the Impressionism and the impressionists, the French group who initiated the movement and ofcourse to one of the brilliant American impressionists, J.S. Sargent. ive always admired them and their beautiful, strong work, hence, ive deliberately painted this street scene carrying a little hint of the french flavor, for the place and for its people who have a strong connection with the style. Though this is a digital piece, but ive treated it in a very similar way i do traditional paintings. illusions of detail without any...just thick, speedy and spontaneous brushwork, creating impressions. I did brows through few street scenes for an idea, as references, but didnt exactly follow any. painted in Artrage – tablet. Thanks for stopping by. Good day.
