Great shot of a great signpost. Where I grew up, in Missouri, usa, they had wonderful signposts in the farm country. The fields were uniformly cut to 1 mile squares and the signs would read Smith 2N 1W, Riley 1S 3E, etc in a stack of 6 or 8 names...these signs do have a charm, don't they?

I did a work experience with a potter very near here, it was marvellous expcept for the RAF flying at hedge level everyday. It's a lot quieter in town!

One thing that can never be said about all the rural communities in this fair land of ours, it that they have boring names for the towns and hamlets, many going back hundreds of years! Wonderful signpost and image! ^=^

This is more than a fork in the road. Too many choices, how to choose when all the names are so charming. Wonderful shot.
