Description
I decided to do something a little abstract and this is what I came up with. It's my version of the famous shipwreck painting, The Raft Of The Medusa.
When you are a kid in school, the day seems to take forever before the bus comes and 'rescues' you, so that's what I was implying here. Plus, I wanted to see how many figures I could put in one render.

Fantastic image and really superbly composed! I think I hear my system whimpering at just the THOUGHT of that many characters in a scene!

More surreal than abstract. Excellent poses, lighting and scene. I'd like to see more interpretations of classic paintings. Could be a great series.

wow, I cant believe how many boys you put all in one scene..if I did that, my computer probably will crash or is out of memory..excellent creative idea..amazing how each boy is different in character.

This may be your most amazing render ever. :) Brilliant work!

richly composed, and lots of nice details, like the boy standing on the ottoman. Well-posed and conceived, and definately surreal. This is your "breakthrough" piece, as you've stepped up to a new level. Just fanastic!

So familiar, but I had to look up Gericault's painting. You did a fantastic job! Very impressive, and humorous too!
