Description
Don't usually post in the Cinema Section, but seeing as I'm trying to get back into the swing of things, I guess this is the best place to be posting and getting advice etc.
Did a little more work tonight on a project I'm working on. Working out convincing edge fillets and I tried to model a convincing enough spade. Can't seem to find any tutorials on how to do so, in the end I just experimented with a cube object and a hyper nurb and just pushed points and polys around. Not entirely happy as trying to get a clean join with wooden shaft is proving frustrating.
Bear with me with everything else, ie lighting etc, I'm still trying to come to grips with everything again. So much advice needed there :)
On a side not, I intend to model some flour sacks, and some more tools (pickaxe etc) could anybody give me any pointers on a good method of doing so or any good cinema tutorials?
Thanks for looking
Mike

Experimentation pays off. Often what you go after evolves almost on its own into a surprise. Your efforts are to be commended and I hope to see the finished render. Nice job.

This looks fantastic Mike. Very realistic!!! I know it must've taken a LOT of work, but I'd say the effort has been worth it so far. This looks like an awesome quality model! - Matt
