Description

Bryce7 Pro/Photoshop All items created in Bryce7 Pro.Terrains are rendered in a Seriously Real Material from Daz3D(as are the foliage).Strange waterplants are lattices rendered in an organic preset texture, larger plants are trees customized in the TreeLab and rendered in a modified organic texture. The desert creatures are fully poseable Bryce models created from seventeen individual lattices (one for each body part),all linked in Bryce using hidden spheres as joint pivots. The skin texture is a modified cave texture by David Brinnen, part of the Pro Materials in 7 Pro.The horns are a modified bone texture.Sky,light and atmo are all custom, water is a preset.Rendered in Premium setting.Postwork involved a levels and saturation boost, signature and resizing. Thanks for viewing, and any comments you wish to leave!

Nicely done. Bryce has come a long ways since I tried it (a long while ago).

This is a wonderful glimpse into an alien world: alien in that it's completely unfamiliar and a "world" as in it's quite consistent and possesses a palpable internal logic. I love the mood of this: at once mysterious and inviting. Great work on every level and I'm quite intrigued to see what else might exist in this world. I'll have to keep up with your gallery now (and browse over what I've missed! But that's the fun part.) Excellent work.

This is the stuff of legends, Neil. The animals are superb (do they taste good, too?), as are the terrain, vegetation and atmosphere. Easily one of my favourites of yours.

Holy crap that's great! And lattice creatures too. They look like Poser animals. I'm very impressed.

Holy !!!!???!!! I am astounded you were able to create such an incredible world in Bryce! Haveing used Bryce for many years I can appreciate what a feat this has been! And your world is beliveable as well as alien! A little orange tint and this could be a scene of life as it might have been on Titan a hundred million years ago... Outstanding!
