Description
This was inspired by the recent Sci-Fi v Fantasy poll. I found it impossible to vote as I couldn't say I like one genre more than the other. It also occurred to me that there are a lot of similarities to the genres and I wanted to do an image to capture that.
There was a lot of work getting into Terradome & the MOM Crowd generator (as well as convincing my PC not to melt down)
I posted this version in 'Fantasy', version 2 will be posted in 'Sci-Fi' tomorrow.

Yep! I have exactly the same trouble with drawing lines between the two. Both are exceptional and undecidable. Excellent imagery.

Whatever fantasy or science fiction is most popular our two heroines seem to be in big troubles! Great render! ;o)

Very cool render.. and such a true statement.. not sure why there's a line draw between them when the two are so much alike in many ways.. maybe because fantasy typically looks back (age of magical creatures) and Sci-fi looks forward (space technology etc) Either way I couldn't say which I like better..

Awesome image. All that work paid off. There is one main difference between Fantasy and Sci-Fi. In Fantasy the fairies wave little wands and pout. In Sci-Fi they tote a BFG and grin maniacally. Well at least in my images they would. LOL.

Excellent theme and posing. Great how you carried off the mix of sword and fantasy and Science Fiction, with great detail I see you mastered the MOM and got them to look sharp.
