Description

Oostduinkerke is a popular seaside resort in the Belgian province of West Flanders. Oostduinkerke is known for its shrimpers on horseback, a considerable tourist attraction.

It is the only place in the world where you can see such shrimpers. Fishery folklore is still very much alive. My upload is a capture of the statue on the beach at sunset (no postwork) Thank you for your comments on my previous upload:

I thought I knew just about everything about shrimping but this is something totally new and totally amazing. Outstanding! Love the statue and love the information.
