I am a great fan of the graphic arts although I believe I have a long way to go still to master any of them. I have been tinkering more seriously with Poser and Daz Studio since 2004 after a little stint trying to figure out 3DS Max back in the late 90ies. Even though I love playing with my computer, my love remains with photography which I have been trying to learn every trick in the book since high school. I have been doing portrait photo shoots in the studio and outside more seriously since 2010 and feel my skills with setting up lights, composing and post processing have greatly increased. I hope you'll enjoy my art work and will be kind enough to leave your comments, good and bad (the bads ones are the ones that make us grow and learn - but I do like good ones too, it makes me smile). Please, try to throw in a comments/critiques on the technical skills as well. I know my models are pretty, that's one of the reasons they're in my studio to begin with, but trust me, I have nothing to do with that. Reserve these comments for their parents. As for the image above, except for the assembly, composition, lighting and rendering (no post work), none of this is mine. I wish I could give credits to the original artists but I have done this a long time ago and did not record which items I used. I can tell there is a lot of Daz3D stuff in there but I don't believe the V4 characters are. Anywho, thank you to all the artists who makes this fantastic stuff which helps us have fun (and sometimes frustrations) when generating our images.

That's lovely but I can't work out where the lights are that are illuminating the cliff face...

That was back in 2006 so I do not remember, but I think the light was coming from the waterfront behind me. The exposure time is quite long at 4 seconds. Pleanty of time for whatever light was reflected across the lake to make it look this bright. I have looked at other daylight pictures of the area and there are no spotlights at the bottom of the cliff.
