Description
Not long from the nest, this little killer had just disposed of one of our unsuspecting sparrows. No wonder she wanted to wash her beak.
Shot taken through our bedroom window at dawn.

That's an incredible photo! Well done, Sir! Reminds me of a day several summers ago when I watched a small bird land on a lawn and about three seconds later a perigrine falcon pounced upon it and turned it into an instant pile of feathers. Happened so fast, I almost couldn't process what I'd seen.

Fascinating photo using a darn good camera. Lucky you to have such a view. Is that ocean or mountain stream? I see some real interesting rocks there too. At least one nice Agate, looks like some sedimentary & granites as well. Any fossel bearing rocks?
