Description

Such and exciting name, yeah?! Matte 1 - I know, I'm so creative! I'll be able to upload a good bit more these days now that many projects are over. Here's the first (obviously) matte painting I did for a low budget movie called (again, obviously) Time Refugees. Cinema 4D for the modeling and textures and basic lighting - some basic photo textures (numerous sources, either shot by myself or online, but I can only think of cgtextures.com at the moment), and some are just C4D shaders. LOTS of paintover and Adjustment Layers in PS before being composited with the greenscreen footage of the guy in the cell. A special thanks to the folks on the Critique Forum for the help while making this! Any and all comments and crits are welcomed and appreciated. Enjoy! -Lew

Kool looking work, I would have liked to seen a frame with the live action guy in there, but still a rather spiffy result ! ~Cheers~
