Last year I started my third period of photography after fifteen years silence.I began in the analog eighties and took primarily slides with my Pentax MX until it broke. Then, in the early nineties, I started digital photography with a very simple Logitech Fotoman. It was easy to operate because the camera didn't have any features except a flash! The surprise came ofcourse when I first downloaded pictures on my computer. The ease of working digitally convinced me. Still, after a few years, my interest declined.Until last year when I took a chance to work with a compactcamera, seeing other peoples work. In the end I bought a new camera myself. Eversince I can't imagine living without a camera.

A very, crisp and clear, beautiful shot. I have tried many times to get a shot like this but the herons around here (UK) are much too wary.

Beautiful shot, love the reflection! We have a spot around here that attracts a lot of herons and other water birds, I love to go shoot there.
