Description

These are the great western towers of York Minster..one of the great churches of western Europe. A family wedding was held there last W/E and it was a wonderful opportunity to revisit. It's an amazing city.full of historical interest. It was an important Roman centre. the Vikings also colonised it. Medieval remains are everywhere..followed by the following centuries. To anyone planning a UK visit, do consider York..also it has a huge number of pubs!! more pof York to come, but the first upload had to be of the Minster.

Jean, I like towers in general and in Prague I can see them very often. It is very nice decorative element and this capture "speaks the same". Well seen, nicely done.
