Description

Hi again! Another pic from the Oriental Market, taken at 2010-08-24 around high noon.... Listen to the musicians is one part of the fun; look what happens to the audience is another thing. Normally it is forbidden to have a deep look at others: "Don´t gape at somebody," tell us our parents, "it is out of good manners!" Only children have the right to gape at other people, we adults not. But is not in every photographer a little Peeping Tom? Often are the things that happen in the audience much interesting as the celebration for itself is. At this special event here the audience was embarassing, and I tried to catch this spirit with my pics: This here is such a snapshot. I hope you enjoy as I enjoyed the street event.... Thanks for your interest and your nice comments for my last pic and the older, and thank you again for those who took one of my pic for their favorite.... billcody, Berlin

you know,...usually I hate being photographed and even more if some stranger is taking pictures without asking (or even with asking :). but if I'd knew that every taken picture would end up in such a beautiful result like this one I'd let take them whatever they'd like! it is a wonderfully captured moment of happiness in lovely and rich colours and lighting... It's amazing work! (and thanks for taking away a little of that fear of being pictured :) )

You captured Icerian with this image--no, not him literally: he's a cool Czech guy, and this is a woman...so no, it's not him...but you captured the essence of how he sees and what he sees. I love the manner in which his photographs capture life, especially in Prague (a city that has become my new home, even though I'm not there now.) I love the way in which he sees moments with people in them, and in this picture you've seen a moment with an interesting and beautiful person in it. There's innocence in this picture, there's beauty and I love it. This is exactly what photography is all about. Great work!
