Yep, it doesn't get any fresher than this; getting to know your dinner up close and personal as both the judge and jury. I used to raise chickens and it was always difficult to be the executioner and butcher.
As you shall see in a subsequent image, Asians are fond of leaving the head and feet on the bird when making a roast.
In either case, as the judge, one can tell from the plumage and their alertness these are healthy animals indeed.
I hope you enjoy viewing these images as much as I did taking them.
