Description
I wrote this for my fellow American's a while back, seemed fitting for today's tribute to all the 9/11 victims and family's who suffered from the World Trade Center incident. Please stop and take a moment to remember all those who we lost.
America!
Americans we are and always will be.
Living day to day; some serving our Country.
When a Nation needs help we heed their call.
Raising them back up and rebuilding their fall.
Strange why man would feel the need to kill.
Just thinking of it makes others feel ill.
This is our Country, United we Stand.
Still we had to send troops to fight in sand.
Living off limited supplies in their packs.
Waiting for the next victim to be attacked.
Far away from home in tents they abide.
Over here we are just happy most stay alive.
Moms and dads, brothers and sisters,
All servings the USA, swiping through like twisters.
Those who have fought for us yet died,
We'll never forget you and know that we've cried.
Here in this great Country we call home.
America the beautiful remember; you're not alone!
In our thoughts, even in many prayers.
Awaiting for your return in families and pairs.
But until all are back in America with us,
The T.V. people update and in God we trust.
For freedom we set out to obtain,
Respect and pride we all as a Country gain.
Thank you to our Troops where ever you are.

Of course the attacks would be less frequent if they weren't there in the first place but I guess the Roman Empire had larger territories...
