BIO My name is PHillip Deck. Why call myself kindredsoul??Kindredsoul means a kindred spirit, I enjoy making fairies, tranquil landscapes and with kids in it...I started out using Bryce, then later went to Vue after learning it has ecosystems which really benefits in making forest scenes. Also Vue has excellent lighting model as well. Other than art, I like hiking, taking photos, work on jigsaw puzzles and enjoy being with family and friends.

Very nice image! I'm no archer, but the pose feels very natural to me. :) Textures are nice. I perfectly understand why you wouldn't use Vue trees (man, those things are poly heavy! They even bog down my computer with its 8 gigs of RAM!), though I think one or two real Vue trees in the foreground might have looked nice. Where is that wooden knife from, if I may ask? It looks excellent. :D The texture work looks good, but it could use some extra specularity (paint tends to be shiny; as it is it looks more akin to a tattoo). The image itself is well done, but it reminds me in the midst of my complaints about K4's lack of body morphs why I really do prefer K4: Matt's joints are awkward (especially the elbows) and Matt has an awkward body shape in his chest area. :( The hair looks quite nice; Koz's Short Messy Hair, I'm guessing? The dirty scraped knees look absolutely perfect, like he's been kneeling down on dirty, rocky Caribbean soil. He's rather pale for any Native American and a Caribbean in particular, but I guess that's why you called him "white Taino." ;) I think SkinVue can adjust tone? It probably would've been pretty simple to make him a proper skin tone. ;) Anyway, hope I didn't sound too critical; it definitely looks good and this definitely deserves five stars. :)

Excellent!

Nice details in the render, and a great portrait. The hair seems a bit painted, compared to the details popping out from everything else, though. Good job, nonetheless!

Great work, I like his expression, you have a lot of ingenuity to create all the things you have mentioned.

Well, I think you did a real good job with the posing - particularly the hands. And it does look like he's been crawling through the woods.
