Description

I was going to post the other photo of the pine sap but I shot this today. :) I don't have the ID on these but they are very small [less than 2 inches (5cm) in length], this one is sitting on a blade of grass. They are a very pretty brown color on the body and wings. I thought the look on this ones face was priceless, it looks like he is blowing a raspberry. Thanks for looking! ***best viewed full size***

What a specimen. This is marvelous. I like the little hairs on its head...and those eyes are fantastic. I love their color. I'm no good at identifying dragonflies, but I know a beauty when I see one and this is a beauty. Yeah, the facial expression is priceless...they have such odd, humorous faces. This is a great shot. Wonderful details and your use of light is fantastic.
