Welcome to my Artist Page.
ÂÂ
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Zaid, I am of middle eastern background, I am happily married and have a wonderful son. I am a computer engineer by day, artist wanna-be whenever I have some free time.
I got into 3D about 3 years ago and I was hooked. I first started off with the free version of DAZ Studio 1.x, then moved on to Poser 7, Poser Pro, Poser 8, Poser 2010, and I made a full circle back to DAZ Studio 3 Professional once the reality plugin for Lux renderer was made available. I also do some photography in my spare time, so having a renderer that reacts like real world lights was a natural transition for me and I haven't looked back since.
Most of my art revovles around Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Pin-up art. Though I do sometimes dabble in other themes, one of my halloween pieces was publised in the October issue of 3D Hobby magazines.
I always thrive to learn better techniques and ways of achieving my visions for an image and I am thankful for all the people who take the time answering questions and making new tutorials for the rest of the community, in addition, I am thankful to all the feedback the online community has given me and I cannot forget about the wonderful content createors whom without, my artistic expression would never see light of day.
Select pieces of my art can be purchased from www.alternaterealityart.com. The print outs are handled by a professional photo lab and professionally shipped to ensure all prints arrive in pristine condition.
Content creators, if you like my artistic style and are interested in using me to create promo images for your new content, please contact me at alternaterealityart@gmail.com.
Please enjoy the images in my gallery and thank you for stopping by.

Zaid

Oh, the Reality plugin. Well, that answers my first question on HOW this was possible in DS3. The image is just fine. Nothing wrong with it. Now, never neglect the sheen of the hair. It is usually best to create your own sheen shader for hair in DS3's own 'material'...tab. Next, never neglect the human form and its soft-to-hard points. Remember that human flesh pushes and pulls itself. A bit of muscular flex on the left lower shin would only improve this work. Last, human expression is a thing of beauty and immediately connects us with the intended mood of the work presented. Don't fear using it. Even sensual moods can be heightened with a smile, laugh, or frown. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Keep it up.
