Description

Autumn Angel The Autumn angel is visiting our town, Spreading her beauty of the fall season. Soon we will be giving thanks to God, For a bountiful year shall be the reason. I welcome this special time of the year. When the heat of summer starts to fade. As the leaves turn from green to brown, In a strong northern wind they cascade. In the fields farmers harvest their crops, While storing grain for feed this winter. Children carve pumpkins as jack-o-lanterns, In costumes for treats they are enchanters. This is such a wonderful time of the year. Nature‘s glory looks like a beautiful painting. Our earth is covered in shades of brown, Orange and golden brilliance never waning. Now this autumn angel prepares all the Plants and creatures for a long winter sleep. Our earth will only be waiting for spring, When again the cycle of life will repeat. Copyright @ 2004 M.
