Description
This is a scene I created in May and finally got around to completing. It's a bit dark so a zoom would be helpful.
Thank you so much for the kind comments and favorites on "Colors of Autumn", they are all so appreciated.
Have a great week.

Wonderful, and with a believable figure too. The dark sky and the ship contrast so very well with the lit scene. The foam on the water is really well done!

great atmo and light!

I agree here with all other comments and I like the Atmo here - think it´s not so easy to create a scene with a dark mood - for me this is a great scene

In the province of Brittany, near the sea, how are there any church without votive offerings of sailors ... no. The sailing was the sad privilege of losing teams, or by severe storms, which was driving the heavily laden ships on the rocks at water level or sharp as knives or failed them, victims of "wreckers" kinds of land organized pirates, whose goal was to empty the holds of ships to their profits! I was 'afraid' that the survivor, is in reality a shipwreck. But the situation is even worse for her, since many goods were stranded on the shore, but the crew seems to be missing! the sea here, was not finished being a little bit hostile and the dark sky not yet emerged. Everything is made with great talent, hope for the survivor is symbolized by the two lamps, storms, escaped the sinking.

Wow! What a great scene. The lighting is perfectly placed. The balance between the dark and light is excellent. Her pose, the ocean, veg and tilted ship are all done so well.

Nice complex work!

This is a great composition with the lightened area in the foreground, a place of hope ; and dark area with the broken ship, the place of the disaster !! It's not too dark and lightened in a very realistic way !! The foamy waves in the moonlight, roaring on the beach, are perfectly rendered, as the whole scene !! A magnificent work, my friend !! Bravo !!
A_Sunbeam
She did well to save that lot - great lighting!

Superb image, very realistic, even in the light! You can not decide which light to sink, is the fate that has events! Very beautiful scene where the lanterns give comfort to the woman who has a great need! At the same time, the lanterns are perhaps the light of hope! Really a great job!

Not sure if I can do anything to help, stuck as I am in GroBotoland.... Mind you, seeing what she's managed to salvage all by herself, she'll probably do just fine. I'm sure that as soon as the storm dies down, she'll be remodeling the boat and heading off home... Marvelous image, Patty.
