Hi Juliette, yes, automn is coming. The first trees paint their leaves. In a couple of days we all see in our forests the indian summer. And your funny picture of a toadstool is well done, (we call him here Fliegenpilz, the only sort of mushrooms, I know, because he is a mushroom with much, much poison in it). But he looks so funny. I completely agree! I posted at least 7 different varieties I found in my back yard a couple of weeks ago to my facebook, I love them! The best I had with color though, was a yellow one, not this gorgeous red!

oh my Juliette, this is wonderful! It reminds me of the mushrooms I looked at as child in the fairy tale books I read .. I remember one picture of Hansel and Gretel deep in the forest, rays of sunshine peaking through the tops of the tall evergreens, and little mushrooms like this one on the forest floor! What memories of treasured books you've brought back to me with this most beautiful picture!
