Hi everybody,
My name is Dana Pommet and my wife’s name is Josephine. I was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, in 1942, and except for a tour in the Navy, lived there for most of my life. I retired to Delray Beach, Florida in December 2000. We love to travel and photography goes hand and hand with that. I went digital about 5 years ago and started posting November 22, 2008. I have met so many wonderful people on RR and that makes this whole process so much more interesting than just posting photos. Thanks for all the comments and keep them coming.
Update  January 2012: After hiding and denying my mild Dyslexia, for most of my professional life, and now fighting with its advancement – I want to thank you all for putting up with my poor typing skills and spelling problems. I know that my spell checker hates me and I now depend completely on audio books rather then actually reading printed books.  Life marches on!  ÂÂ

Wow, Dana! This is such a heartwarming dedication! I've been to Sedona two years ago and just admired those beautifully shaped rocks and boulders. It was also fun looking at the Indian artifacts at the small shops in the downtown area and just taking a stroll at the place. Looking at this photo, the rocks look like nature's castles majestically standing under a vast, clear sky. A beautiful shot and so wonderful to look at. Thank you so much, you and your son Dana II share the same outstanding skills and talent!

It certainly is breathtakingly beautiful. Great shot with what looks like spring greens coming out. Stunning against the red of the mountains. I can see why it is such a popular place. Beautiful.

Stellar DOF, clarity, colors and rock striations in this superb shot, Dana. I wish my scanner did the fantastic job that yours does.
